The boys and girls make the beads themselves from triangular strips of paper...usually from magazines.  They've been selling the beads for about four months now and have a total of about $5000...

Recently released was Paul Stankard's autobiography, No Green Berries or Leaves, which took him over five years to write. In a South Jersey News Online interview, Stankard says "It is my prayer that my experience can inspire others with personal challenges to pursue their dreams ... until those dreams are realized."

Jordan Elementary School in Jordan, Minnesota has a theme for the new school year. "Beads on a String” is meant to emphasize how each student is different and unique. Each student was given a bead, with a total of 625 beads - and students - in the school!
